God Becomes a Man

Excerpt From My Ebook -

Understanding the 3 Levels of Salvation: Spirit, Soul & Body

Book One: The Salvation of the Spirit

Now because of His plurality, three in one and one in three, God was able to accomplish the most astounding feat the universe has ever seen!

The Almighty God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, the matchless potentate who is purely Spirit departed heaven, left the Halls of Glory, condescended to a lowly estate and was actually born as a man!

Took on flesh and blood and walked this earth as mortal!

To put this into perspective, let me describe it to you this way:

Imagine one day your body begins to shrink and continues to shrink until it becomes as small as a worm and actually takes on the shape and characteristics of an earthworm, in fact, you become a worm but on the inside you are still a human being, as much YOU as you ever used to be!

You remember what it was to look at a beautiful sunset but now you can only feel your way around without any eyes.

You remember running and leaping through the air, now all you can do is crawl through the earth at a painfully slow pace through every description of waste and filth imaginable.

Not only this; but you still have all your memories, your intelligence, your emotions, all your faculties working at optimum level while being trapped in the body of a worm. Can you really imagine being a worm?

Now here’s the clincher: You deliberately gave up your life as a human being and did this because of your great love for the worms.

You lived as a worm for over 30 YEARS while trying to show them a better way to live, a way that would prevent all the worms from being destroyed, but all they did was to mock, ridicule and hate you, eventually betraying you and putting you to death in the most horribly gruesome way!!!

That’s a very weak illustration of what Jesus did… FOR US!!!

He was God in every sense of the word yet He became a man and died for you!

Can you imagine GOD - THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE trapped in the body of a man? That’s infinitely worst than you being trapped in the body of a worm!

Why did He do it? Because we could not save ourselves!

Even though it was our responsibility, we did not have the capability!

God knew that if mankind was to be saved it was up to Him! And this is where the uniqueness of His tri-unity came in.

Because of His three-fold make-up He could become a mortal creature, a part of His creation, and still remain the Eternal Creator, apart from His creation!

In the persons of God the Father and God the Spirit He remained supreme, unique, God the Creator, above His creation.

But in the person of God the Word, He actually put on humanity and became one of us... a man!

“...The Word was God ...And the Word was made flesh” John 1:1, 14.

And in so doing, the person known as Word of God manifested another title... the Son of God! “...And we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father” (John 1:14) “...Unto us a son is given...” Isa. 9:6

Praise God for who and what He is... The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Three in One and One in Three!
