 | What is the Purpose of Man? Pt 2posted by Everest John Alexander, Group AdministratorTuesday, May 18th 2010 @ 9:04 PM (2 ratings) |
Looking at it from a different angle we can get another perspective on the same question.
Why did God create man?
God created man to be able to express the fullness of His Fatherhood.
If we divide the Trinity into their respective Persons we understand that God consists of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
The Father initiates a thing by thinking it, The Son produces that thing by speaking it into existence and The Holy Spirit activates that thing by giving life to it.
These are the respective Offices of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
God goes by many titles but only one is supreme – The Father!
God, the Father!
Now, correct me if I’m wrong but in order to be a father you must have a son, right? Or at least have a child.
For the purpose of this discussion we’ll use, a son.
To be a father you must have a son.
God had a Son, that’s what made Him a Father – You can’t be a father without a son.
And God is also a limitless being.
So, imagine a father with limitless fathering potential but only has one son.
What do you think his greatest desire would be for?
An omnipotent Being who can create anything He wants, has all this love to give and whose primary purpose is Fatherhood, but has only one Son.
What do you think His chief priority is going to be with all the power He has?
To create many more children to love and be a Father to, so He could express the full potential of His Fatherhood.
Why did God create man?
God created man so He could express the fullness of His loving nature and to fulfill His potential as an Omnipotent Father with a limitless supply of love to give.
